I don't know if this location is still the Oak Merchant, but it's the furniture shop on Oliver near Kellogg, across from the elementary school with all of the red and yellow going-out-of-business signs. Got a mattress there for the best deal in town, and great service. Paid for one day, picked up the next with no issues. Even loaded our truck. I recommend stopping here first, you'll find what you're looking for at a great price. I think it's all bedding and mattresses now though!
I tried to order some end tables from the Oak Merchant in November 2015 and was told I needed to pay 1/2 which was $430.00. He told me it would be 4 to 6 weeks for them to get here. I called in in Jan. 2016 to get and update and he said he hadn't been able to order them because they would not ship such a small shipment and he was waiting for more orders. I called again in Feb. same story, Mar. same story by April I decided that I would rather just have my $430.00 back and he said he would send it. It is now June and I have called him numerous times and still no money back!! I have repeatedly asked him to call me back and the only time he did was when I left a message threatening to take it to small claims court. He said he had been in the hospital with kidney failure and once he got out he would send it.. still no money back. I would not trust anything he tells you, I feel like I have been ripped off and I'm not happy about it. Even if he is in the hospital I think he could have someone in his family write out a check and mail it. Don't buy anything from them unless you can take it home right away!!! I'm not sure why it's showing Aften's name on this post because my name is not Aften but it won't let me change it.
