My husband and I were impressed with the help and designer service that was available - positive experience with buying furniture!

I was struggling to decide between 2 options. Eva, the store designer, was extremely helpful to me in making my decision. She was so knowledgeable about the process and your furniture. I was in the store for approximately 1.5 hours meeting with her, and she was very patient while I struggled to decide. She showed me various fabric options, put things together beautifully so I could visualize the way it would look in my home. I am very excited about my purchase! Thank you, Eva!!

First off, don't fall for the urgency they falsely project with their sales pitch. Don't ever pay full price because there is some kind of sale or discount to be had nearly every weekend. I began my search here months before pulling the trigger and each time I came back (4 times total) the price of my chair was the same with the sales. While most of the associates I encountered were friendly, I only purchased my chair here after visiting every other furniture store in town and being unable to find exactly what I wanted. In my opinion, the quality of the furniture does not live up to the expense, so I was having a hard time spending so much. The only reason I decided to go with this chair is because it perfectly matches a chair I purchased at Nebraska Furniture Mart. My experience at Nebraska Furniture Mart, a place not nearly as "upscale" as La-Z-Boy, was so much more satisfying. Because I was just buying a chair and ottoman, I didn't want to pay $100 for delivery. I could tell right away they didn't approve and were not willing to do anything to make it easy for me to pick up from the store. They unbox/unwrap the furniture and advise you that you'll need to bring your own packing materials or blankets. Also, they refuse to help you load the furniture. They didn't tell me that, even after going thru the contract as they had me initial different agreements. I had to read it later tucked away at the bottom of the disclosures. However when they called to tell me to pick up, she said "there is no one here to help you load so if you need help bring it with you." I think it's ridiculous that a place that charges so much for their goods can't lift a finger to put a chair in a truck bed. Nebraska Furniture Mart wrapped my chair in plastic and loaded it in my SUV for me and I paid significantly less for a kickback recliner than La-Z-Boy wanted. When we picked up the items, they didn't ask for ID to verify who I was. My furniture was also tucked in and around lots of other furniture, so we had to move someone else's item so that we could inspect my pieces, and the associate just watched. This experience has just left a sour taste in my mouth. Also be aware that you have 3 days from sale date NOT delivery date to get a refund/exchange. That's only if you have to wait for the furniture to get into town, not for floor models or clearance. Once you take it, it's yours. Overall, I'm happy with my furniture but not with the store or the experience.

Liked the couches we bought from here, but the experience was not the best. We had a sales rep talk to us about couches most of the time instead of being able to walk around the store. It was a lot of talking and not much shopping, which I prefer to look and test out couches.

You should be VERY VERY VERY careful purchasing furniture from this store. This is not a furniture store you go into, see something you like, and take it home with you. 95% of the floor items are sample models of what you then order. You pay an additional fee for your order to be sent to the store. If you change anything on the chair (e.g. "I'd like the fabric on this model put on this chair") it becomes a "custom order." My husband has limited mobility. I came to this store thinking I could get the exact chair to meet his needs. I now have a brand new $1,100 chair he cannot use. The manager has offered me $612 of store credit because it was a "custom order" (I asked for the fabric that was on another model on the floor), and I had had it too long (three weeks). You are much better off getting your recliner from one of the other furniture stores in Wichita that hopefully cares a little more about customer satisfaction.
