If I could leave lower than a one, I would. What a nightmare. These guys don't seem to understand how to keep trucks maintenanced. We go all the way there to get a 27ft truck, and check it out. We leave with it. An hour later they ask us to bring it back. They say it hasn't been maintenanced. So they send us with another truck which is clearly an old beater. It didn't start twice when they tried to start it up. Made comment that it was probably going to do that to us when we tried. They don't seem concerned at all. We take truck home. Load it up. And of course, try to start it and it doesn't start. Says coolant is low (do you know how long it has to go unchecked for that indicator to go on?) This is AFTER it's completely loaded. Their solution? We will bring you another truck and you can load your things into it. Well, aside from the fact that we've paid for a property and movers at the property who are waiting on us, that solution will require a three day delay. Which means we won't have access to the movers because they're already scheduled for three days out. The other solution is they're going to try to get this truck running and they might get it started up, but it's likely going to have more problems. So we can look forward to a bunch more chaos, cost, and inconvenience thanks to these guys not maintenancing their trucks right.
I have rented two trucks from this Penske location, a 26 foot flat bed and a 26 foot box truck. Both times the rental pickup and return process were painless. Both trucks I rented were very new and equipped with bluetooth stereos and aux input. It's not as cheap as a uhaul but the service is ten times better. Will use again.
Used them to move halfway across the country. Reserved a Budget truck for our move. When we went to pick up the truck, it wasn't there. They were going to get our car dolly. Came back 40 minutes later. They wanted us charge us $200 extra because my girlfriend was younger than 25. Called Penske after that. They were so friendly, & accommodating. Helped us out day of our move. We had a technical error with our car trailer. They had roadside assistance come by to fix it with no charge to use. Definitely recommend using them if you're needing to rent a vehicle.
Top notch rental company that is so much easier to deal with than Uhaul or Ryder. A great selection of trucks to choose from, they have the best fleet around.
