Dr Steineker is a wonderful veterinarian! She’s kind, compassionate, and cost efficient! I highly recommend her!!
I had to take my puppy to another get because I would have been charged beyond the means of life and so I could get her the care she needed (at an affordable price. Theyre money hungry. Well never go back for I was not pleased at all. The vet/doctor was very stubborn, rude, close and one minded. She had assumed "I let" my dog get into poision because she tested negative for parvo. When she had shown various signs of it. I would have been charged for another test. I did not appreciate the way I was talked to at all about my dog. Yes you're a person who's profession is in this field but you don't know the dog like the owner knows the dog. I appreciate they helped my dog but that price was beyond the means of life.
The vet seemed a bit unwilling to give information as if she should charge money for every word out of her mouth. A bit pricey. The girl at the reception desk was slow, inefficient, argumentative and not very friendly. The rest of the crew was good.
This is a wonderful clinic- the staff seems to really enjoy taking of my pets. Their prices are reasonable and affordable and they worked with my budget to do all they could for my pets. I have used them for the past few years and will never go anywhere else- I always feel welcome and my pets love the attention they receive here. The doctor is very nice and she always listens to my concerns. I recommend Animal Health Center to anyone seeking a great veterinary experience.
Dr. Steineker was the Vet who certified the $1000 dog I purchased from Petland was healthy and able to be bought. After going home with the dog and much love from many kids, the dog had wheezing and acted odd. After taking it to my local Vet, the dog had Giardia/Worms and the beginning of Pneumonia. I had to spend hundreds of dollars and take time from work to care for the dog. Petland will not take any responsibility nor will the "Guarantee" because I used a different Vet. So if you buy from Petland, you have to use this Vet for reimbursement. I am stunned a Dr. could not tell this dogs lungs were very ill, we almost lost him if I hadn't got him several rounds of medicine.
