I am a 67 year old retired person suffering from a quadruple heart surgery living on a set income and cannot afford to pay regular rent or utilities. I placed an application for Section 8 in March 2017 and was told to wait for a letter to tell when my appointment has been set ....it is now June 28, 2017. no letter... they are rude when you come in the talk to them and you cannot call and get information or even find out when you will at least be notified and you may be denied if you do what I am doing ....complaining about the inconsistencies at this office.
I've been trying for three weeks to get a call back from my "housing specialist" tried to make an appointment to get what i need from her but i have to call her and do that. I call and call and call leave messages for them never to be returned. My employer even called and left a message. Please tell me what i have to do to get my paperwork and my question answered. Please!!
