The DMV gets a bad rap, but this new "text ahead" service makes it so much easier. This place is clean and has tons of windows. It's easy to get to as well. This will improve your DMV experience greatly.
Reserved through Queue Management System from home using computer(Text can also be used). Got text updates of estimated wait time. Then got another text after sometime telling me to head to the office. Went inside, in less then 1 min they called my phone number. Excellent service by the nice and polite staff. Got out in no time. Very happy with their service and text reservation system.
I'm always in and out quickly! I used the text service to reserve my place in line, I live 5 min away so when I had 15 min left I headed to the tag office and only waited a few minutes as the line moved fast. I went back on the 13th, signed in and before I could get situated they called my number. Very fast!
I came in to register our vehicle, 10 am on a Monday, expecting to spend much time waiting in line. To my surprise, I was able to get my vehicle inspected and then get our new tags all in no more than 45 minutes. Staff from both Highway Patrol and Tag Office were both very helpful. I would give 6 stars if I could.
Goto the county website to use the 'hold your place in line' capability. I was only seated about 30 seconds before they called me. Nice facility.
