Like all facilities, Wesley Rehabilitation Hospital has its positive attributes, but in this case this isn't one of them. I have a loved who is currently seeking treatment there. The care has been mediocre at best. The services she received on the night of February 24th onto the early morning hours of Friday February 25th were beyond unacceptable. You can thank Shelley Nichols and Selena Baez for that. They were extremely unprofessional. They didn't greet her using the proper salutations, they didn't greet her at all. They hardly made their presence known. They didn't instruct her on what they were doing and why they were doing it. They handled her roughly and had very nasty attitudes. This morning they handled her aggressively while getting her ready for breakfast. Doing so caused her to be frantic and livid. The sad part is that my loved one is non verbal at the moment. Fortunately she was able to identify those two. Thank God because who knows how many other patients they've mistreated. Due to this series of unfortunate events, a thorough pending investigation is being conducted by Kristie Ball the Chief nursing officer. We have requested that those two have nothing to do with my loved one. In my personal opinion I don't think they should be allowed to work with any patient at all. My family and I are taking the proper measures to see that no one else is mistreated by those two or anyone else for that matter. They have been reported to the state because they're work ethics are poor and that type of behavior in this profession or any profession at all is beyond acceptable. IF you are considering having your family member transferred to Wesley for rehab. I can't stop you but I'd strongly, strongly advise you not to do so!
