Back in March I went to ER and waited in a room for over two hours waiting for someone to read a scan finally was discharged 1:30am. Go somewhere else if possible
This is the best hospital in Wichita. I have waited awhile on certain er visits but it just depends on the number of patients and severity of illness. The surgery center, nurse care, infusion center and or departments are all awesome.
My wife was referred from The Little Clinic in Dillion's after a negative rapid strep test. She arrived and spent over an hour in the ER waiting room. When she finally was taken back to an exam room there was more waiting. After a 2 hour 15 min wait the doctor finally made an appearance. She was very nice but part way through the exam she was interrupted and had to leave the room. After just over 15 minutes the doctor returned and finished her exam. It appears that their emergency department is severely understaffed and is overworking their doctors. It is crazy to spend almost 4 hours for a simple strep diagnosis.
They treated me like I was some junky and I sat there for over 4 hours with a shattered wrist and hand just for them to tell me to take Tylenol and call another doctor. Come to find out I needed surgery and the doc that performed the surgery couldn't believe they didn't wrap my hand and take care of my pain.
Was in this hospital i give it 5 stars everyone was great took good care of me . Thank u all
