I had a great first experience
I should have read the reviews fully before going. I showed them a picture of what i wanted done and the hair style i wanted looks nothing like the picture. One girl cut my braids too short and set my hair on fire. Smh luckily it didn't burn. I spent $180.00 for that mess. They did little bitty locs. My hair is short in the front which i made them fix and long in the back. Not worth the money I spent. My hair is so tight. when they fixed the short braids instead of rebraiding and wrapping my hair she cut off the ends and wrapped from there, not even thinking that she could have cut off some of my real hair. Not spending a dime here again.
Waste of money. They didn't do my hair how I asked even after I showed them plenty of pics. I wanted chunky Senegalese twists, but they kept doing ittty bitty ones. I stopped them and let them know that was not what I asked, but instead of grabbing bigger sections of my real hair, they used the same tiny sections, but added more fake hair to it which created way too much tension and ultimately ruined the quality of my real hair. It was terrible... I think professionals should grasp that concept. They definitely screwed me out of my money. And I ended up having to cut all my hair off. So steer clear of this place.
I asked the person to leave my edges out and she continued to pull my edges really tight. I'm practically bald around there now. I wouldn't recommend this place they care nothing about your hair just getting paid.
So 2weeks ago I went to Kadim shop for simple layer braids on a Saturday their so THIRSTY they will tell you anything to get you in a chair ,she told me on the phone it would be 3 hours to braid my hair ,I get their and was pissed it took this broad 8 hours .not only did she have to change and feed her baby she also walked away without telling me what was goin on,I ask the ugliest one their should I leave and come back the bitches start talking in their language witch I knew was about me .i showed her the pic of how I wanted my hair (NOT SATISFIED)I wouldn't come back to this shop EVER AGAIN just because your AFRICAN DONT MEAN YOU CAN BRAID .like all black peoples can't fry chicken .THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN
