Went here for years to see Dr. Keller. When he retired I started seeing Dr. Wendell and she is fantastic. I've also seen Dr. Grindel and he is wonderful too. This whole building and everyone that works there has a positive patient-first vibe that I love. The entire staff is so friendly, the nurses are AMAZING, X-ray and lab on site, MRI next door, very kid friendly, and just a business done right. Also, their online patient portal makes things so easy, can always get a quick response from my doctor, get a perscription refilled, schedule an appointment, and have answers quickly. I came for Keller and stayed for the overall service and positive way I feel when I'm here, they all genuinely care. Highly recommend Wendell or Grindel. Wendell is young so she's likely to be someone I can see for a long time. She also speaks Spanish and has a caring smile and understanding ear always ready to listen. Grindel is very experienced and has a very humorous bedside manner that reminds you it's all going to be okay. Both very experienced young doctors.

Always a great experience. We've seen three docs there. Our first one moved away, once I saw a different doc because mine was booked up, and now my wife and I see the same primary doc there. Staff is always nice, the nurses are wonderful, and they've always handled any last minute requests as best they can. Once we discovered that we needed medical waivers for scuba diving. We were able to get them done that day.

I called to make a new patient apt. They were all about accepting new patients. After giving all my information, I was advised that a note was going to be sent to the nurse of the doctor to see if she will accept me as a new patient ( never heard of this). Received a call back a couple hours later stating that the doctor wouldn't accept me but there was no reason. So then I asked okay what do I do now? ls there another doctor I can see, I asked. The nurse stated that if one doctor wouldn't take me then I can't see any of the doctor's. Highly disappointed!

From their website... "Primary Care Associates is committed to providing quality health care for your entire family. As family practice physicians, we provide services for both acute and chronic conditions such as allergies, chest pain, diabetes, ear infection, influenza, hypertension and back problems." Yet, when I wanted to be a new patient, the doctor had to accept me. Which, they didn't end up doing and the front desk lady that called me back couldn't give me an explanation as to why I would be "declined" as a new patient... She talked over me when I asked why I was declined and when I asked what the deciding factors were in declining me, she hang up on me. Yeah, they sure are committed to providing quality health care for your entire family!... What a great way to be committed to treating people in need of healthcare in the profession you are in... Absolutely appalling.

I called to make a new patient appointment today because a co worker had referred me to them. I live in Wichita and go to Augusta to see my primary care doctor. I decided to give them a call because I wanted to see someone closer to me. They took all my information and said they needed to send a note to the doctor I wanted to see and they would call me back to let me know if she would accept me as a new patient or not. I thought that qas weird but whatever. They called me back to ask additional questions including "Why do you want to be seen here? Why cant you see your regular doctor?" I felt like I was being interviewed to see if I was a good enough patient to go there or not. I just wanted to be seen by someone because I was not feeling well. Nothing too crazy. Then about 2 hrs later, a receptionist called me back to say that they would not accept as a patient. I called back not because I was upset, I just wanted an explaination as to why. I never received a call back. Im lucky I went ahead and made an appointment with my primary care doctor in Augusta. Even though its a bit of a drive, atleast they want to help me, they always work with my schedule, and truly care about their patients. As a receptionist, I totally understand screening people when a practice is accepting new patients but not to give the person a reason as to why they can not be a new patient at your practice especially when they are sick and just wanting help, makes no since to me. Atleast give them a referral to another practice and try to be helpful.
