In the end we got charged close to $400 for labs (which we are happy to pay ~ $100) and the rest for two sessions of degrading "consultation". This matter has been brought to the BBB and will hopefully be resolved for future patients. ( At time of writing, we paid the bill due to threat of collections, with BBB claim pending. )
Good experience overall, I've been going there for around 10 years. I did read the one other review on this site listed for this practice and am not sure if the reviewer is reviewing the right place, there is no Dr. Wilhelm listed there and I don't recall ever seeing the name on the list of doctors posted. My wife is thinking of changing doctors and I recommended Lakepoint to her. I guess that's about the best testimonial I could give.
I am furious with them. Absolutely inappropriate behaviors and 110% lack of care.
A medication they put me on was causing horrible side effects. When I called in to speak with someone about feeling suicidal and if I should stop the medication or if it would hurt more, I was hung up on twice. A friend of mine was also hung up on because she was frustrated and "not talking nice". They don't return calls, the nurses are HORRIBLE and don't care about mental health what so ever. I was embarrassed that I had referred people to them previously. Dr. Wilhelm is wonderful but the nurses make the experience a nightmare and truly show that they don't care.
Unfortunately it was mostly downhill from that point. My wife setup an appointment and we both noted that it felt, (from conversations over the phone) like we were a huge hassle for the staff as a whole. This was before we even set foot in the door.
My wife met with two of the female physicians, both of which had not only poor direction & little suggestion for us medically but were down right insulting to her. In fact the second doctor she met with got on a rant about how she wasn't doing anything right (after 3 years of trying and a miscarriage, and tracking levels daily) and said "this is going to be expensive, so you better accept that now" . Just not something to say in the heat of the moment after not listening and flat out refusing to accept any medical history, we left wondering why we would go to a place that just belittled their patients for the whole "consultation".
We were very hopeful to have a good recommendation for someone locally who could help us with fertility treatment options and advice.

Don't waste your time or money. Doctors are always on vacation or work 2 days a week so you get a PA or nurse who prescribes you off the counter meds. Go to urgent care. They're great.
