Do NOT go to this Dentist! Dr. John Roberts located at 7224 W. Northwind St. in Wichita. After receiving treatment for a minor filling on Thursday morning, I got an infection in my jaw. I contacted the Dentist on Friday and he told me that I was fine and there was no way of infection, and told me that there was no need to come and see him that day if I needed anything else to call him Monday. My jaw was swollen, warm to the touch, and painful! I went to the Minor Emergency on Saturday morning and received antibiotics. The Doctor there verified there was in fact an infection. He told me to go see my PCP on Monday if the swelling was not gone. I went into my PCP Monday, and was prescribed more medicine. I received a bill for my filling from the Dentist, and I contacted him about it. He was very RUDE, EGOTISTICAL, and CONDESCENDING! He told he that there was NO way I could have gotten an infection from him, that he had been doing this for far too long, and basically blew me off all over again! DO NOT go to this dentist, I feel he is negligent!
My husband and I are very pleased with Roberts Family Dentistry! The staff is very helpful and welcoming, and the dentist is careful and thorough while checking and treating our teeth. He does a great job explaining little details about oral care that we wouldn't have known otherwise.
Not many people can convince me to do a deep root cleaning... These people did. Love them! ❤
