Terrible place to live, people keep coming and stealing things from our yard. The woman Kristi in the pffice is terrible and every other word out of her mouth is a lie. This has been one of the worst expierences I have ever had as far as a place to call home. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!
First we were told we would have a dishwasher, we pay for one no dishwasher. Ever sink,drain toilet or otherwise has issues. The office people are always gone and maintaince fixes everything half way. We have called corporate they pretend to care and do nothing. I have video of what dealing with these people is like and also of everything wrong they don't care and they try to scam out of money. Overy a year later and t they are still playing games. They gave us a check with the wrong name for our deposit. Now they refuse to reissue a new one in the correct name. Cannot get ahold of corporate and the office lady Christi is still being rude
I live in the Front of the park.. so office always see to it that it is kept up.. I've read most of these horrible reviews.. I'm so glad to say when Josh was manager I never had these problems.. but that was almost 5 yrs ago.. now.. well pay yr rent.. keep yr yard clean.. and keep to yrself.. other than that.. the two girls in the office are never in, but yet I've never been disrespected by them.. I might have been rude to them once ir twice, but they have always been professional.. my children play at peace outside.. and consider my neighborhood spot safe.. i will say this.. there is always notices on the doors.. (maybe something that can be put in mailboxes).. and one thing I do recommend is ALWAYS keep yr stub from money orders!!!!!! That is an annoyance checks getting lost in their mailbox.. but other than small minor annoyances.. I'm very satisfied here.. office ladies are nice and lot is clean.. the Front Half!..
I have lived at Twin Oaks since 2012. We have been trough ALOT of managers and office people. I love Krissy, since she has been here the park looks so much better. Before it was like pulling teeth to get them to do ANYTHING! Their staff sucked when I moved in. Now when I need something Krissy is on the phone with her maintenance as soon as I turn my work order in. Not happy about rent going up every year but its the cost of living I guess. You get what you pay for.
Run by thieves! One officer manager stole narcotics from residents, the other tried to steal my daughters bicycle and a few other outdoor items with absolutely no notice. We were told we had to pay $50 for items stolen from us. We were never, in 4 years of living here, given notice to remove those out door items until they were stolen from us after the office staff were under the impression that we had moved out. I was told by Marla she could do nothing to retrieve my items and that I must wait for a phone call from Kristi the following day. My items were returned within minutes of threatening to call the cops. One of the maintenance men, Dave, told my husband he should have just paid the $50 and that there was no need to call the cops. If TwinOaks was legally correct in taking my out door items, then why was it returned within minutes of threatening to call the cops? Do not under any circumstances move to this place. They apparently like to employ theives that steal your stuff then try to charge you extra to get it back.
