beautiful park for all to enjoy, peaceful, and active. Big enough to fit out all in.

Peaceful place to just sit and enjoy the weather.

My Grand daughter's 3 yrs & 1 1/2 yr. old and I walked to this Park as to it basically being the Closest Park in the neighborhood as We have almost every Sat. or Sun. for going on about a Year now ~ While getting our Kite Prepared to put up in the air, the two girls were aproximatly 4-5 ft away from me playing under a tree. My oldest grand daughter come running to me with a Used Syringe in her hand as a nurse would normally hold one, Yelling G'ma I got a Shot and then repeated the same thing as I looked up in Shock & Fear I Immediately grab her hand holding the Syringe out of Reaction & Without really thinking I had as fast as I could Flung it away from us !! I had scared my Oldest grand daughter as I was hollering - I asked if her or her little sister had got Cut or Poked as if maybe playing Nurse or Doctor !! They both nodded their head's "No" on the verge of tear's because of My Reaction !! Realizing how I badly I had frightened the girls I sat them both down and Explaind Why I was so Upset and the Importance of 1. ) Not touching things that "Do not" belong to them & 2. ) That if they ever saw "A Shot" again to never ever touch it because it can be Very harmful just as a Knife or A Gun can be ~ Ofcourse, I then toned my attitude & voice down telling them Just how much I loved them and that I never wanted to see them hurt nor ever did I wanted to lose them ~ I still today feel Awful for Startling my Oldest Grand daughter as I did, but "I do Not Regret It" for the fact I know that what I Had Said "Sunk In" I also did apologize to the girls for yelling & explained that I really wasn't yelling at them ~ We Shortly packed up and walked back to my house and continued to have a nice visit ~ As I wish to do for as long we can ~ ♡ The next day after the Girls went on back home I told both their parents what had happened, I then later walked back down to Aley Park to find the Syringe I had thrown & Disposed of it Properly B'cuz if one Child was able to find it, it was just as well that another Child could do the same. *I will continue going to Aley Park with the girls or with my dog but I will for sure Keep my eye's more open , , , ~ G'ma

A skateboard park! You can enjoy being outside while watching free show of skateboarding.

Went 2 days in a row. The first day the slides weren't open because they said they didn't have enough lifeguards or people there. The next day slides we're open.
