I went in to get the keys cut, my original key was so worn we had some trouble with the first one. He was able to correct it and make the key work. He even used a generic key blank first to make sure he wouldn't ruin my aftermarket key fob blanks.

I bought a couple key fob cases and key blanks for my Scion Tc on Amazon. The key fobs have a pretty awful design and they're always breaking. So I can't just replace the whole thing when one breaks. I just swap the guts and chips from one blank to the other.
