The entire situation was a misunderstanding with me and the email from the individual was replied to within 2 minutes with apologies and options to meet with the owner in private on my day off. There was never a response from the individual. This is a spiritual place where we do our best to help spiritually. We are not mental health therapists in any way, but we do our best to help anyone and everyone in any way our strengths allow. The incident happened back in January and this is all coming out now out of nowhere from people whose names and faces I do not recognize and can't find as customers in the system. So this feels very personal towards me alone, but I not towards Moonstone. It seems the only way you guys want this handled is for me to be fired, that's not going to happen. We are all human and make mistakes and have many differing views. These petty personal attacks are uncalled for. I've taken responsibility for my part in the negative experience and I've learned from it and acknowledged it to the individual. I private messaged the individual and replied to original review, but got no response. This is what I sent.... "Well I saw you're review. I would like to apologize I made you feel that way. That was not my intention in any way. I remember the situation and I was being very shallow and scripted. I misread the situation and I do apologize for that. My spiritual beliefs and view of past lives and soul contracts can be seen as harsh to many. I mean no malice or cruel intentions. It has been nearly 4 months since you were in. I am curious as to what made you want to just now leave this review. You have every right to do so, but does seem a bit personal. I realize I am not perfect and I take complete responsibility for my part in your negative experience. I do apologize that you felt the way you did. I did not mean to come off as shallow and upset you.".... You can't just fire someone for one misunderstanding or mistake. Especially somewhere that embraces mistakes as life lessons and learning opportunities. Brightest Blessings
I've been to Moonstone a handful of times now and I keep wanting to come back. Chris is so nice to talk to. He's very informative and helps me think about things in a new way. He's been so helpful! I really do love Moonstone and it's workers! You too Lexi! Hopefully I spelled that right.
I love this store. Some items are on the pricey side but the staff is great, family store, the atmosphere is very relaxing and the classes offered are done well. Great place to get stones and crystals and tarot and incense and books on paganism etc.
Such a cool place to shop.
Verbally abusive to customers. Managers gave zero cares about correcting this situation, and instead further instigated and disrespected clientele. It is unfortunate, too, as this store is located across the street from my apartment, and I enjoyed walking over there to browse and buy the things I needed for my craft. Won't be returning.
