I first went to Dr Barb it was for numbness in my inner ear. No one could figure it out. Dr Barb took time to do an x ray to see what may be causing this. We saw that my neck was straight and didn't curve so it may have been causing numbness but ultimately she thought acupuncture could help. She started there and within months the numbness went away!
Growing up in Australia , Chiropractors didn't have a good reputation within my family circles, so when someone suggested i seek out a chiropractor for some back neck and shoulder issues i was having, to say i was hesitant and skeptical would be an understatement. I was introduced to Dr Barb at a networking event , and we talked about the problems i was having, then i waited 6 months and did nothing. Finally i decided after talking to her again at another networking meeting , i had to at least try , (of course i had no expectation of success) BOY ! what a difference after about 6 sessions , the back pain was gone for good, and the shoulder and neck relief was almost gone, Oh, a nice side benefit that i didn't even realize is that chiropractic can help migraines, mine have been reduced by about 80% in frequency and pain. I still see her as needed and I would highly recommend her (and I do) to anyone looking for good chiropractic care.
