Tried the Packaging Store as a new source for shipping medical lasers for our company. The first shipment was crated and arrived damaged. The crate was made of wood that was not strong enough for shipping a laser and of weak construction. The crate had screws drilled into it that should have entered structural boards inside, but instead went directly into boxes inside that contained medical accessories. I reported the damage to Sean the day we received the laser. After speaking with Sean (Owner) he suggested we work with the actual company that transported the laser. The contact person given by Sean was a sales rep and nobody responsible for processing an insurance claim. This person did notice the date of when I made note of the damage and when Sean reported the damage, two weeks had passed by. This I was told could be a problem. Sean suggested I step back and in his words "Let the professionals handle this". All shipping material was saved and an inspector from the company that transported the laser eventually sent someone to inspect the crate. The inspection report notes the condition of the crate and damage. Our company paid for Insurance to cover damages. The Transport company stated no insurance was ever purchased otherwise they would pay the claim. Where did the money go? To this dateI have not received a refund, I have not heard back from Sean and he no longer answers my calls. Be carful dealing with The packaging Store!!!!!
I paid this company 830.00 to pick up and deliver a 8 ft pool table . I was told by Sean they had crated and shipped pool table before no problem. The pool table arrived at the installers place with no bumpers or felt and damaged, the bumpers and cloth arrived a week later. He told me they would be there the next day which he knew was not true they got left behind in Ks. The installer sent me pictures of the damage the wood was gouged off the leg and 3 metal pocket covers all marred up and will have to be replaced over 800.00 in damage. I emailed Sean the pictures and emailed him twice more with no response, I called yesterday no one answered my call but I did leave a message asking once again to please contact me but nothing so here I am I will also be contacting the BBB. I let Sean know I was not so concerned about the leg because you can't see much unless you look under but the pocket covers have to be replaced I emailed the price to Sean on the replacement cost from the local Brunwick dealer and nothing. I would warn anyone using this company if they screw up and damage anything you will be on your own they will not respond to you which to me speaks volumes I will post about this everywhere I can to let others know how bad their service is beware.
