Sadly, with the closure of Sears and several other stores here, this is basically a 'dying mall' at this point. It is spiraling downward. Most consumers on the west side of Wichita basically frequent the 21st & Maize region of this town. So many memories here, but, for now, the only traditonal mall in Wichita worth a visit is Towne East Square, but even that mall has it's own barren areas. Shopping malls like these are sadly a relic of the bygone era of the 60's-80's and might be made extinct in time.
This is a nice little mall. It would be better if they had a play area for the kids and more windows. I have to drive all the way to Towne East if I want to shop and stop to let the kids play. I wish they decorated a little more for the holidays also. They do have a variety of stores for an older seeming mall. They also have a lot of little stores, not all big chains like most malls; I like to shop at the big chains too but it's nice to have a mall with other options. I like their little movie theatre too; it doesn't get too busy so I was able to bring my two year old and one year old to see Lego Ninjago. The movie had been out for a while and the theater is older so no one was there but us!
Dark, needs brighter lighting inside. Parking lot needs more light also. This place is very run down
This is almost a ghost town... It will be good to see it RE-develop after the intense highway construction on the west side is complete. For now it is difficult to get into, and once there you really have to wonder why you bothered to make the effort... I will wait for what Has to be an improvement to the West part of Wichita.
