good selection, friendly folks, and the recent cleaning up has made the store very nice to visit.
People are friendly. Booze is cold and they usually have some great sales.

I was just in Aboud's Liquor store and was told by the new owner that I was no longer welcome to his store because I carry a firearm. The new owner has had knowledge of my firearm and knew that I possed a CCH with 10 years law enforcement behind me and I have been coming to this store for over 2 yrs with no issues and all the sudden I was no longer welcome because of it. I then advised the owner that I could just leave the firearm in the car when I come in and that it would be no problem to do that. He then told me that he wouldn't know if I was carrying or not and did not want me in the store anymore because of it. I then asked him why he was discriminating against me because I posses a CCH and his response was *I just don't like firearms*. Very poor response I felt knowing that to possess a conceal and carry you go through a extensive background check with the sheriffs office and attorney general to get one. So in closing..if you legally posses a CCH you are not welcome to shop Aboud's Liquor Store I guess which is odd because there is nothing posted stating you cannot carry in the store. So this was a shock to me. Very poor experience with the new owner after trying to make a resolve by telling him I would not bring my firearm in when purchasing which was *his complaint* it still made no difference to the new owner simply due to he had knowledge I carried was enough to not want me there.. I have known the old owner Joan for over 2 years. A very nice lady and would do anything for her.wish Joan wouldn't of sold the store..she is missed.
