Stopped by for a wash after getting sprayed by a truck on the turnpike... I needed quick, professional service to get an unknown substance off my new car! That's exactly what I got!!
I'm border lining Fair to Good and leaning toward fair... but definitely can't see anything better than good. I had my Dodge Caravan floor carpets cleaned. Hackney doesn't go the extra mile, he does only and "exactly only" what he is told to do and I can't say honestly it's any better than the average Joe could do it at a substantial cheaper price. If you tell Hackney to clean the carpets, he will clean the carpets and leave dirt and grime on everything except carpet. I found the center spots of the carpets were cleaned fairly well but around the edges, around the console and along the doors and kick panels, they didn't appear to be given the appropriate attention needed. And for price... When I called for the appointment, Hackney quoted approx. $100 on the phone.. but when I got there, he said it might take more than the two hours he normally takes to clean a van and it would be up to an additional $50 an hour, but he would try to keep it to 2 hours. He is very slow at cleaning and honestly if I was making $50 an hour, I would probably work a little slower also. My bill was $161 for cleaning just the floor carpets and absolutely nothing else... and I could have saved $100 or more by going elsewhere... which I will do next time. I would not recommend Hackney... I would recommend going somewhere that quotes a standard cleaning price and does the job for that price.
Took my car in for a detail and they couldn't even get hard water marks off of the windshield. Not a good value for $100+. Find someplace else.
Rod Hackney can be a jerk not only sometimes, pretty much every time I have ever used them. Save yourself the trouble and money, anyone but Hackney's Custom Car Care! And Joe's Never Let Joe Do It!!!! That's and even scarier experience.
Get it in Black and White if you deal with Hackney's Custom Car Care! Have you ever wondered how it would feel to be quoted $150.00-$200.00 only to show up and have your car held up for a $500-$550.00 ransom? Well we needed to spend extra time on this part, or this side needed more attention! Forget the fact that you only agreed to spend $150.00. This place is an outright scam. Bait and Switch when it comes to prices, and never leave anything inside your car that you expect to keep or stay in your car!
Recently took our 2016 Chevy Spark in to get it detailed. We were quoted that it would cost $50/hr, and I assumed it would be less than $100. Our final bill came up to $430 with eight hours of labor, needless to say I was shocked!!! They do decent work, but I had no idea you could pay this much for an economy car to be detailed.
