The oiling of lanes is very inconsistent. Splits all the time on solid pocket hits. And no I'm not a bad bowler, 192 avg at other house. As a league bowler this is going to be my last year at this house, and I've heard the same from many others. Even though North Rock is owned by the same group it is far and away a better house, better lane conditions, and staff. The employees at W. Acres (esp grumpy old guy at desk Wed/Thur eve) need some remedial training.
4 instead of 5 stars, because they want $10.50 for a pitcher of beer... Other than that great establishment!
I enjoy this place because there is a special everyday of the week! Staff is very helpful and kind, the food is great especially the mozzarella sticks are always cooked to perfection.
Very surprised. The lanes were in great shape. Would be nice if they had shoe storage in the sitting area or somewhere close by. They had good beer which is a must for adults. Nice computer game scoring and when you slide a pin but it didn't fall you get a strike. Senses pin locations.
Fun and more fun in this nice clean well taken care of facility. Lanes are well maintained.
