Great place for kids. They offer scholarships so that your child can take a art class.
Child's birthday party, for most of the kids it was there first time being there as well as mine anyway the instructor I believe itvwas Alicia was Awesome...great with the 14 kids and we had a lot of fun. However the artistic director who's name I can not remember was Extremely Rude and very impatient even snatching out of the kids hands...i feel there was a much better approach that should have been taken, I mean they are 10 years old. I was happy with the class but Will not return in the future and I know it rubbed some of the other parents the wrong way as well
One of (many of) the best places to see amazing local and regional artists works displayed. Be sure to stop by the gift shop to pick up locally made ICT pieces!
Great art gallery. Small, varied, changes often.
The only class I've taken is glassblowing, and it's great. The instructors are very friendly and patient with beginners. Skilled instructors are also available to assist students at all levels.
I also enjoy walking through the building to view the various and ever-changing gallery displays. I plan on taking pottery soon. Highly recommend City Arts.
